Dancing Girl: A Journey with Cerebral Palsy
Cerebral palsy is a condition that affects movement and muscle tone, often from birth. It can lead to unique ways of moving and speaking. For me, living with cerebral palsy has been like a dance—sometimes graceful, sometimes a bit clumsy, but always uniquely mine.
The name “Dancing Girl” actually came from a light-hearted moment with a friend. As I was explaining how my muscles and movement patterns work, he looked at me and said, “That’s why you’re the dancing girl!” We both laughed, and I realized it was the perfect name for my blog.
In this blog, I’ll share both the fun and the challenges of living with cerebral palsy. While my walk and speech have their quirks, they’ve also improved over time. And through it all, I’ve found joy in embracing my unique rhythm.v by

Now I like to follow up on on my father idea for me, not to speak about myself just for the sake of it, but if I talk about my cerebal palsy I will be able to help other by explaning my view on it. Who knows, I might make some people laugh, think or even feel better about themselves.

Then one day asked me “Are you the Girl Who Dances?”, at first I was surprised, when I understood that he was referring to my PC I had trouble stopping laughing. I found it very funny the way in which he described my disability. From then on I wanted to do what he did and show people, think and talk about the light and funny side of having disability.
