As Christmas approaches us, I look back on the journey of living with cerebral palsy. There have been countless moments of laughter and fun, shared with my family—my parents, grandparents, and sisters. Their support has been a pillar of strength, turning challenges into cherished memories.
This year, we’re blessed to have my 88-year-old granddad join us for Christmas, adding even more warmth to our gathering. I also want to hold space for my sisters, who have both faced personal struggles this year. Through it all, their resilience inspires me.
And then there’s my 8-year-old niece, whose joy and wonder bring a special magic to the season. Her laughter is a reminder of the pure, unfiltered joy that Christmas brings.
This Christmas, I’m holding onto hope for more magic, more laughter, and the warmth of family. Wishing everyone a holiday season filled with connection, love, and that special magic that makes everything brighter.
